THE RULES

WE HAVE ONLY FIVE SIMPLE RULES HERE, BUT THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE FOLLOWED AND RESPECTED.
1. KEEP TO CANON: Here at

ohgravitas we want to stick to what J.K. Rowling has given us within the books and use intelligent reasoning to build events after that based on what she's said. In short, yes, Hermione and Ron, Ginny and Harry, Asteria and Draco are all going to marry each other. No, George Weasley isn't gay and no one can come back from the dead. Please just use common sense and facts and we'll be just peachy!!

2. BE REASONABLE WITH SEXUALITY: We support creativity and expression, but please understand that not everyone can be homosexual or bisexual. Just be reasonable!

3. NO OOC DRAMA: This one is plain and simple. Absolutely, positively no drama between players and definitely don't let it leak into the game. If you have a problem, solve it, or ask the mods to help!

4. KEEP ACTIVE: Another simple one. Make journal updates often, thread as much as you can, and keep up with your commenting and posts :]

5. HAVE FUN: Best rule yet. HAVE FUN!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. HOW OLD IS EVERYONE?: Well, everyone has been out of Hogwarts for a couple of years so everyone should be close to twenty depending on their birthdate. In-game it will be November, 2001. However, if they're not in Harry's year they'll be older or younger, obviously, and if they're unknown then go ahead and make it up if you like! :]

2. WHY AREN'T THERE MORE CHARACTERS?: There aren't a lot of characters because we want this to be a small, intimate, and active game. Huge games take a lot of effort by the mods and dedicated players and usually die because of the majority of (inactive) players. So we're here to be small, active, and fun.

3. CAN I CHANGE WHO MARRIES WHO?: Nope. Sorry, we're here to stick to the books and canon and Harry doesn't marry Hermione just as much as Draco doesn't marry Ginny. Sorry! If you'd like that feel free to start your own game!

4. WHAT ABOUT DEATH EATERS?: They've all either died, gone to Azkaban, or are hiding someone very, very far away. They won't be coming back anytime soon. Right now we're focusing on rebuilding the wizarding world, not creating another disaster. Yet anyway...;D

5. HOW DOES TIME WORK?: It'll be real-time as far as day and month, but the year will be 2001! So, November 1st, 2010 our time is November 1st 2001 in-game.
